Update

Alec in RCDW News
Thursday 11 of January, 2007

Dear members,

As some of you know, we had been experiencing a significant spam attack in the last month. The moderators and administrators pulled through with a plan to remedy these attacks. After closing the forum for a brief period of time, we were able to successfully implement the necessary fixes. The registration system has now re-opened and the forum is back online. Although we cannot say that the forum will be "Spam Proof" forever, when these issues surface again, you can trust that we will work to find a solution.

In other news, we welcome our newest addition to the forum, Demonic Design Services (DDS). After almost two years, this aftermarket parts company has finally become a reality! DDS offers the finest in aftermarket Wild Dagger/Twin Detonator/Blackfoot Xtreme/Mighty Bull chassis kits and accessories. They also design custom parts and chassis's to fit your specific requirements. DDS is looking forward to helping you with your next project!

If you haven't done so recently, we encourage you to revisit forums at RCDaggerWeb.com and check out what's happening with the latest trends in Tamiya radio control modification.

Questions, comments, or concerns? Please feel free to post them at the forum.

Thank You!
Sincerely,
The RCDW Team

*IMPORTANT* Spam Attack forced registration lock-down...

Chris in RCDW News
Friday 29 of December, 2006

If you are new to RC Dagger Web and are trying to register, I'm afraid that you won't be able to for a short while. RCDW has suffered a serious attack from a spammer who has been making hundreds of spam posts all over the RCDW forums. However, due to the difficulty of removing this person, we have been forced to disable user registration until we can fix the problem. Hopefully this will be only for a short period of time, but we really have no other choice. Current users will still be able to login.

If anyone reading this has any questions, please direct them to dagger_thrasher AT rcdaggerweb DOT com.

Sincere Apologies,
The RCDW Team

Lock you servo from free-play

Alec in How to - Guides
Wednesday 22 of February, 2006

Had enough of your steering servo moving left and right and giving you inprecise movement? Here's a solution to 'lock' your servo so it stays were its suppose to.

I've moved up to a Bluebird high torque ballraced, full metal geared 10.6kg high-torque servo and after installing it with stock support it was just rediculous how much play the servo had... (Submitted by reefmaster22) Read More

Want an Indestructible Diff? Here's how...

Chris in Monster Projects
Wednesday 15 of June, 2005

Aside from the stock driveshafts, the Wild Dagger’s and Twin Detonator’s transmission is tough. Really tough. It possibly uses the strongest transmission of any other truck it’s size, which is a great asset to the truck. But given the nature of all us Dagger/Twin D owners, too much power is never enough, is it? This truck is a twin-motor, 4-wheel drive beast that just cries out for as much power as you can cram into it’s little chassis...Read More
